Google Chrome

Google chrome is basically like firefox if you ask me.  The only part i like about it is the games and apps. But that is just my opinion.  On google chrome you have to make an account or just sign in with your google account.  I think i would rather use firefox or safari because you have to login to google chrome and you have to download it.  A lot of the people in our class said they enjoyed the things google chrome has on it, but i guess everyone has a different opinion. Go check it out and see for yourself!

Infogram is an easy way to make an imformational page about anything you want to show people.  Here is a page I created about the 2015 Chevy reaper.

Here are my two favorite apps on GO2WEB20.

Picktastic is a fun way to challenge your friends to see how well they know their sports. Members of the site pick which professional and college teams will win for upcoming games, and guess how many points will be scored based on their accuracy. These points are used to help boost their rankings against their friends and other Pickrs. Points can also be wagered against opposing Pickrs prior to the start of another game.

 Ballhyp is a sports news center that can keep you updated by pulling in content from thousands of sports blogs. If other writers are linking to a story, it gets surfaced to the top of the list as newsworthy. If enough Ballhype users hype it up, the story will make it to the home page. You can also write your own post or submit a story that you think should be read. You can also write your own post or submit a story that you think should be read.

Make Your Own Word Search

Extensions

Also using Mozilla, Extensions is an easy way to add things to your search bar like for example, there is a piano extension, where you follow the instructions it says under the picture, then you click "tools" and then click "play your piano". I think it is cool because you can just use the piano by using your number keys, and nothing even appears on the screen. This is another fun, easy way to personalize your firefox browser.

Themes

Themes on firefox are a fun, easy way to customize your home page/search bar.  Using Mozilla Add Ons, you click on themes, and then you can click a category you are interested in or you can search for whatever you want to find in the search bar.  You can search for anything from cartoons, to sports.  Here are some results that showed up when i searched "Jordan", and you can also see what i have set on my home page. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to personalize their firefox.

Gickr

Today I explored a fun, easy to use app called Gickr.  In Gickr  you can upload up to ten photos and create a slideshow that continuously plays over and over again. To operate Gickr you just have to click "upload file" and choose whatever photos you want to be on your slideshow.

Pro Profs

Go check out the sports word scramble I made using Pro Profs. It is a fun easy way to play and create games.

Fotoflexer

FotoFlexer is a free site you can use to make images appealing to how you want them.  You can take wrinkles off someones face or even make someone scrawny look buff.  This site is very easy to use and it is fun to mess around with in your free time.

PhotoFunia

PhotoFunia has to be my favorite website we have visited all school year because you can make funny pictures.  This site basically lets you put your face on someone elses body.  All you have to do is take a picture of yourself and crop it, and then you press go, and it will generate your picture without you having to do anything.  You can also put other pictures on another figure's body.

Bloggif

Bloggif is a very easy site to use to edit images. Bloggif has a long list of tools that you can use to edit a picture, like twisting it and changing its colors, to making a slide show story out of pictures taken rapidly in a row.  I made this picture

piZap

PiZap is a fun, free and easy website you can use to edit photos.  In piZap you can take images from the web, your desktop, or you can use the webcam and take a picture  using your computer.  You can do just about anything to a photo on piZap if you know how to work the website.  You can take a picture of yourself or someone else and completely morph their face into someone elses by dragging beards, hairdos, eyes, glasses, hats, mouths, and other objects like gold chains and memes that you also can create.  I enjoy using piZap to edit photos and making funny pictures.

wordle

This blog post is over the website  wordle.  Wordle is a easy to work website, where you can create collages of words.  You just type in a text box the words you want in your collage, and if you want a word to be larger than the other words, you can just type it multiple times. You can even just copy and paste the url of your blog or website into a different box, and it will put all the most frequently used words that are on your blog or website. Once your collage is created you can change the style of it.  You can change the colors of your words, the size of your words, and the direction they are facing; (vertical or horizontal) or even have most of them horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Wordle is a fun, easy  to use website that is free.

This gadget shows where and when people viewed your blog. so it will show you what country, even all the way up to what city they are visiting from.

Drawing tools

Drawing tools are fun and easy to use because you can draw or create anything you want and save it. Some of my favorite Drawing sites are Draw Isand, Crayolas drawing canvas, and Shiddonni. I drew a ladybug and i am very proud of it.

Google Voice

Google voice is an easy free way to call people off your phone.  You can call from your computer to another computer, or from your computer to a telephone.  It is convenient for people in other countries or if you are traveling out of the country because you can call people anywhere in the world free of charge. I would recommend Google voice to anyone who wants to call people for free.

Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere is an easy to use site that you can open a poll to let people vote on a subject.  People can vote using their phones by sending a text message to a number and saying what they want to vote for.  Poll everywhere could be used for voting for anything you wanted to make a poll about.  I would recommend using poll everywhere for controversial topics in class, or even out of class.

Styks

Styks is a free fun way to make stick figures.  They are fun to make and surprisingly easy. All you have  to do is get the Styks application and then you're set to go.  The tutorial will show you everything you need to know about using the application.  I would recommend using the Styks app if you are bored and looking for something to do, or just for fun.   

avatars

On my blog I like to use avatars because they can represent who i am, what i look and sound like, and what i'm interested in. Avatars are easy to use and they are fun to make.  You can make them look like whatever or whoever you want, and you can even make them play a recording of your voice. Avatars are fun and easy to use and they help make your blog more creative.

Google Hangout

This post is about Google Hangout. Google Hangout is an easy way to video chat with friends.  When you are on chat with someone you can add a hat to your head, glasses, masks, or even a beard to your face.  You can even change the transparent background so it looks like you are in a different place in the world.  Google Hangout is a fun easy way to chat with friends from anywhere in the world.

Google Products

The three google products that I liked best were,  Google Presentations, because you can create a presentation quickly and very easily and you can share it with other people easily.  The second google product I want to talk about is Google Drive, because you can create, share, and store items all easily in the same place.  The last google product I will talk about is google maps.  I enjoy google maps because you can view maps, your location, and get directions from wherever you are to wherever you want to go.  You can even print off your directions, or email them to someone else.

Gadgets

The gadgets that i have on my Blog are sports quotes, fish, and pac man.  The sports quotes gadget is just for intertainment to hear a quote about sports.  The fish gadget is just to entertain my visitors with fish to feed.  The pac man gadget is just a game that your visitors can play to entertain themselves.  Gadgets are cool to use because they make your blog a little bit more interesting and fun.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a social bookmarking site that you can bookmark sites that you might enjoy and share them with other people. It is easy to use and easy to create an account.  After you create an account you can save sites and web mixes. You can make your own tiles with sites on them or you can search and find a tile that has already been created. A tile is just a website with a preview picture that you can use to bookmark your favorite or most commonly visited sites. I highly recommend making a Symbaloo because they are very useful and easy to use.
